Irish E-Sports wins Clanbase Call of Duty 4 Opencup 2v2

After an interesting turn of events, Irish E-Sports won the Cod4 2v2 Opencup. The win resulted from flag almost Legendz (aLz) disqualification from the competition after it was discovered they were involved in match fixing. We'll have a full article and more information in a few days time, but until then Irish E-Sports would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year.

Irish E-Sports in Clanbase Opencup Call of Duty 4 2v2 final

Our competitive Call of Duty 4 team has worked their way into the finals of the Clanbase Opencup 2v2 having beaten flag O3S. Aaron and Toughy who played the match won with a score line of 25-10 over the weekend. Irish E-Sports is due to play flag almost Legendz (aLz) in the final. The final is due to be played on the 27th.

All in all a very good weekend for Irish E-Sports. Between SkyLAN and Midlans we took home a total of €820, and that doesn't include any sponsored prizes (headphones, etc...)! Good game to Monkey Gamers early in the weekend, they're really great guys!
